Ok maybe not the MOST powerful, but it’s pretty crazy.
Just look what it did for Justin Bieber (for better or for worse)
He went from an awkward looking prepubescent boy with a bad bowl cut to a lambo racing, tat covered, international pop star!
All because of the exposure he got from his innocent YouTube videos back in 2007.
I know what you’re thinking.
“I don’t have any singing skills nor do I desire to be America’s next teen heart throb”
Relax.
Video marketing can still blow up your business. Even if you suck on camera.
Why Video Marketing Is The Bomb
Want to take long romantic walks to the bank?
Then people need to be able to find you and buy from you.
YouTube is the second biggest search engine in the world next to Google.
People’s attention spans are short.
They flock to YouTube to be entertained and to get how to information fast.
YouTube videos also rank in Google and stand out amongst the other search results like a big flashing sign saying “click me!”
Another reason you should be all over this. Video lets your audience into your world way more than text.
When people can connect with you it builds trust.
Trust leads to higher conversions. Look at his one video we did. It took us 30 minutes to shoot, upload, and rank.
The commissions this has brought in and continues to bring in funded our entire trip to Turkey for the summer.
Being able to hang out in the sun and have a glass of wine on the mediterranean all because of one little video seems crazy!
But it’s entirely possible now.
We have people reach out to us literally everyday saying: “I’ve watched your videos, I feel like I already know you.”
That’s exactly how you want your prospects to feel about you.
Need more reasons to do video?
Consider this:
The type of person you will become in the process of learning how to do video effectively.
Not gonna lie. It’s a little scary at first.
If you’re like us you’ll probably suck at first.
But the only way through, is through. And you will be better for it.
One last thing.
Including videos in your blog posts will also give you some nice Google ju ju too.
Google loves content that not only includes written content but also images and video.
Create some short videos to go into your posts.
This will increase conversions, help your posts rank, and give you more exposure on other platforms as well as Google.
See what we mean? You’re nuts not to learn this.
Video Marketing Voodoo
When it comes to creating your videos there’s really no “right way” although there are strategies that work better than others.
We personally like to try to deliver good information in a concise way that cuts through the crap.
The majority of our videos have to do with internet and network marketing which are both arena’s we’ve had more success than the average person in.
Because of that we bring our own unique perspective to almost any video we create.
You can do the same thing.
There’s only one you.
Remember your job is not to be Crazy Eddie the TV pitch man.
Your job is to be authentically you and build trust with your viewers.
Let us save you some time and let you know that no matter what you say or do you’re going to have some people who watch your videos and absolutely HATE them! lol.
And that’s ok.
As long as your video doesn’t look like the Blair Witch Project or have any sound issues you’re good to go.
Don’t worry about getting any fancy camera equipment.
Your phone or the camera on your computer can work great!
Once you’ve uploaded your video to YouTube you can start to rank it as well as embed it in your blog posts.
Click here to look over our shoulder as we show you exactly how we upload and rank our videos?
Getting your videos in front of your hungry target market is the first step to driving more blog traffic, more leads, and more sales for your business.
Embed Videos In Your Blog Posts
To embed your video in your blog post check out the video below.
We try to put a video in most of our posts. Now you know how to too.
Embed With No YouTube Branding
You can also embed videos without the YouTube branding.
This can help keep people on your site and off of YouTube if that’s what you want.
Put the following code right after the last character of your YouTube link:
?rel=0&autohide=1&showinfo=0
So if this was our original embed code:
<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”//www.youtube.com/embed/S93wgaKvRqs” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>
We would change it to this:
<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”//www.youtube.com/embed/S93wgaKvRqs?rel=0&autohide=1&showinfo=0″ frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe> When you do this your video should now appear like this:
Boom! easy peasy.
Make Videos Auto Play On Your Site
There is also code you can add to your video links to have your videos auto play:
&autoplay=1
So now your embed code should look like this:
<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”//www.youtube.com/embed/S93wgaKvRqs&autoplay=1” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>
There it is.
We hope some of those tips help you.
Bottom line.
Just get er did.
Start creating videos and putting them out there.
If you’re serious about ranking them and getting more highly targeted eyeballs on them go here.
Who knows, maybe you’re the next Bieber.
Hopefully not, the world has all the Bieber it can handle right now.
